Plant Tour of the Port of New Jersey - Newark port.
We will be visiting the APM Terminal port.
This is a 45 minute tour of the Port of New Jersey- Newark on the Port Tour Bus.
Pre Registration Is Required
The Port of New York and New Jersey handles every type of cargo imaginable - containers, roll on-roll off automobiles (Ro-Ro), liquid and dry bulk, breakbulk and specialized project cargo. There are 54 container cranes ready to handle all types of cargo. Three port companies supply floating derricks, including the 1,000-ton capacity Chesapeake 1000 - the largest on the East Coast - when needed.
Within the New York/New Jersey region, there is a wide selection of freight forwarders, brokers, financial firms, and port services. The port is home to specialized export packers, who can assist with the planning and other logistics needs of any shipper. Whether your cargo is destined for the 80 million consumers in the New York/New Jersey metropolitan area or the growing markets of the Midwest, New England or Eastern Canada, we have fast and efficient access by road and rail.
