Leadership in the “Post Pandemic” world has many challenges. Some of the issues being faced by leaders are managing people, whether they are in person, remote or hybrid, maintaining engagement and thriving amidst some chaos. Leaders are expected to be resilient and to be agile enough to course correct as required by the organizational culture shifts arising amidst these changes.
How do leaders stay relevant? What are the new rules of engagement and the new corporate values? Together, we will explore some of the challenges and some of the evolving statistics. More than 3 million women have exited the US workforce since the start of the pandemic. Employees feel burn-out due to the new ways of working. Is compensation enough to attract and/or retain talent?
New concepts that are being thrown around are work life integration, mental health wellbeing, and boundaries. These concepts are a big part in the role of the manager. Is there a clear-cut strategy or do leaders work with their employees to create a plan or strategy that not only works for them but works for the team and the company as well? There are no best practices in this environment. Leaders are constantly changing and are also feeling the pressure of dealing with so much uncertainty. Leaders are adapting and navigating through unchartered territories.
