ASCM Greater North Jersey Virtual Meeting
Disruptive change is no stranger to supply chain professionals and their employers, and what better example than the impacts of the logistical and geo-political events driving organizations to de-risk their supply chains? Re-shoring and regionalized manufacturing tactics are much in the news, however reshoring and domestic manufacturing does much more than risk-reduce supply chains. In this presentation David will speak of the benefits that range from wage growth to sustainability.
Key Take-aways/learning points include:
- Localized manufacturing’s role in risk management
- Important elements of cost control when making a near-sourcing decision
- How localized/regionalized manufacturing builds agility
- The “triple bottom line”, manufacturing’s impact on the community
