Three Foundational Flaws in our Supply Chain Planning Processes
John Melbye, DDPP, DDOP, DDLP, CSCP
Most of us in Supply Chain have come to expect there to be chaos. We struggle to provide stability in our planning horizon. We challenge our forecast numbers and even try to use Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence to improve them. Working long hours and constantly changing our priorities, we endeavor to execute our plans to the best of our abilities.
We believe we are working in the direction of the solution, but success eludes us too often.
In his conversational style, John explores the possibility that we have foundational flaws in our processes that prevent us from achieving our goals. And wonders aloud if these flaws will prevent success until we realize the cause (at least partial) of our problems.
Join us for this Lunch-n-Learn virtual session with plenty of opportunity for Q&A.
